In the afternoon, our friend Petter came over with a super-duper Christmas present for the family - a Norwegian wool blanket from Røros Tweed.  It is a real treasure that we will enjoy for years.  Thank you to Petter and Stina!

Through the chimney of our gingerbread house.  We bought the pieces of the house in a kit, but it got quite a bit of jostling from Isaac before we built it, so I had to do some pre-construction to fix the broken pieces.  This involved burnt sugar and a few burnt fingers (mine), but the house came together nicely.
