In the afternoon while Grace and Isaac napped, Sam and Katie went sledding down by the base of the Festning. Dave went to check on them to make sure they were dressed appropriately and Katie yelled at him to go home. They were having far too much fun to have a grown up hanging around.
Since it was the first Sunday of Advent, there were some neat things going on around town. At church, the kids got to go up to the front and each carried a piece of the nativity set in the procession at the end of the service. They then assembled the set in the stable. At the Festning, they lit up a giant candle that you can see all around town. And there are Christmas markets going on in all the neighborhoods. Beautiful time of year here.
