Pepperkaker Menn

Tonight, we made gingerbread men.  We've been buying pepperkake at the market since they started stocking it in early November, but it's much more fun to make your own.

Isaac samples the first round.
Wearing the badge of a baker - flour on his cheek.
You would think it would hurt to smile like that.
Rolling out the last bit of dough.  Grace just wants to get down to business with the cookie cutter.
Grace takes charge.
Enjoying the fruits of our labor

  1. I think the ginger people need a house... and quite possibly some clothes. Since Katie is a baker/designer/fashionista I say this would be an epic endeavor, especially if Grace is at the helm, doing what she does best taking charge.

  3. I adore that you titled your blog entry Pepperkaker (rather than Gingerbread). In fact, being immersed, I bet you the Norwegian words are starting to come to you before the English words do. That started happening with me after about a month into my longest trip...
