Library, more raspberries, and banks

The weather has been a mixed bag.  Some days have been drizzly rain all day.  Yesterday was dry and cool.  Still a wonderful change from the Texas heat.

Picking raspberries on the hillside on our way downtown
We went to a couple of banks to find out what paperwork we need to provide in order to open an account.  Of course, we didn't have what we needed, and each bank wanted something slightly different.  You would think they would make it easy for them to take our money.

After being foiled at the bank, we stopped off at the library.  We had been there earlier in the week and got a library card (way easier than getting a bank account) and a pile of books.  Part of the library is over an archeological site.  It is an old church, and they have exposed the burial place of a family who is believed to have died from the plague.

You can see two adult skeletons and a child skeleton.  It is difficult to make out, but there is baby skeleton at the feet of the "dad."

  1. Katie is simply adorable next to that book castle. Finally a place where I can comfortably nap outdoors. :)
