Travelers

Katie on the airplane

We had a wonderful journey to Germany. I am confident in saying that the kids didn't make any of our fellow travelers cringe at any point during the 9 hour flight or the train rides from Frankfurt to Bielefeld. They behaved so cooperatively - I am so proud of them.

On the train from Koln to Bielefeld. (Sam was fast asleep - the girls were sleeping on the stroller in the aisle.)

The apartment where we are staying is phenomenal - almost as big as our house. It has three bedrooms, incredible light that streams through huge windows, and all the things we could need for our stay. Heidi, a secretary at the University, arranged for a crib for Isaac, two high chairs, and some toys. We are set!

In the apartment. This is the living room when we arrived. We moved the bed into Katie and Grace's room.

  3. Glad to hear the kids did so well on the trip! I would not do well sitting on an airplane for 9 hours - ugh!

Gosh, the apartment sounds great. Don't forget to come back to Texas! Will look forward to your posts.
